The 13th annual “Chef Tochal” Food Festival begins next week! Tens of restaurants around Israel will be offering full gourmet meals for only 79 NIS. The meals include first course, main course and dessert.
The festival will take place from 15-25 January. Pre-booking is recommended.

Rami Levy Birthday Festival

Rami Levi is celebrating 35 years with a huge festival at Binyanei HaUmah in Jerusalem. The event will include workshops and activities for the whole family, performances for children and more.
The festival will take place on Wed and Thurs, 2-3 November, from 14:00-22:00 at Binyanei HaUmah. Rinat Gabbai and Saba Tuvia will be performing at the event.
Entry is FREE. Public transportation is advised.
“The Flood Festival” in Jerusalem

In honor of Shabbat Noah, Teva Ivri and the Ginot Ha’Ir Community Council invite the public to “The Flood Festival” – a celebration of Judaism and the environment – which will take place on Friday October 28, from 10:00-14:30 in Emek Refaim Street and in the courtyard of the Nature Museum in Jerusalem.
Activities will include: a Noah’s Ark parade, street performers, music, environmental displays, lectures and learning, an ecological craft fair and workshops for the whole family.

Kite Festival at the Israel Museum

The 25th annual Kite-Flying Festival will take place at the Israel Museum on 17/8/20, from 10:30-20:00.
Museum entry is free for children (up to 17 years), for soldiers doing compulsory military service and for those doing National Service.
On the program:
10:30-20:00 Workshops in the Youth Wing (extra charge)
15:00-16:00 Meet professional kite-flyers in the Springer Auditorium
16:00-19:00 Kite-flying in the Art Garden (weather permitting)
* During the entire month of August, museum entry is free for children (up to 17 years), for soldiers doing compulsory military service and for those doing National Service.
International Puppet Theater and Film Festival

The International Puppet Theater and Film Festival has been taking place in Holon every summer since 1995. It is a festive event, including a colorful fair, outdoor workshops, stalls, performances and a huge outdoor café, held around the unique Israeli Puppet Center complex.
There are a number of free performances that are part of the festival. For a list of these performances (in Hebrew), click here.
In addition, the Puppet Theater Museum will be open to the public for free during the festival.
