Free Entry to 76 Museums Around Israel on Wednesday!

Shrine of the Book - היכל הספרIn honor of International Museum Day, the Association of Museums and ICOM Israel invite the public to visit 76 museums around Israel for FREE this Wednesday (18/5/11). Free entry is for individuals and not large groups. For a full list of the museums and their details, click here.

The museums include: Beit Ha-Tefutzot (Diaspora Museum), Haifa Art Museum, Israel Museum (Jerusalem), Nahum Gutman Art Museum (Tel Aviv), Madatech (Haifa), Ashdod Museum, Rishon LeTzion Museum and Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art.

Museums in Jerusalem: Israel Museum,  Museum of Underground Prisoners, Museum of Natural History, Bloomfield Science Museum, Tower of David Museum, Old Yishuv Court Museum, Yad Vashem, Bible Lands Museum, U. Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art, Shai Agnon House, Museum of Islamic Art, Herzl Museum, Wolfson Museum – Heichal Shlomo.
